Wordless Wednesday: HOME is Where The Heart Is

by Tammy Taylor

Road view #TaylorMadeRanch

Home is where the heart is, and my heart resides at the end of this old dirt road. It’s a place that speaks to my heart, a place where I find solace, peace and comfort. A place where LIFE in all its glory happens. A real place, filled with hard work and pride in a job well done. And when I lay my head down at night, I smile knowing that tomorrow holds the same promise.

Home is where the heart is and I have always loved my home also. After living and working in the City, my husband and I moved back to my little hometown and live in my mom and dad’s little brick house just outside of the ‘little’ town. It has about 3 +- acres. The house is small and too small, but I was in the 10th grade when my dad built this house. So, I am home, and there nothing like going out to the back yard that overlooks a small creek and see the deer playing, and hear the wind blowing the many trees. Thank you for sharing and my driveway is gravel also, while some have paved driveways….and the Country Club backs up to where we live. lol

Home is just perfect to me. It is the one place I can’t wait to get back to, it’s the place I love spending the most time at, and it’s the place I feel most loved!

Oh so true! When we have been away and come down the street my heart practically leaps when our home comes into sight! We own a house on a lake too and I feel just the same about it since we have been going there for over 14 years.
