    Love the color combination! I’ve got some of my great-grandmother’s daylilies at our summer cottage in Maine, although I will say that after more than 100 years, they’re not very faithful bloomers…

    Amanda, your iris blooms are beautiful indeed. Love the heirloom varieties, and I know I have some of grandma’s bulbs that are lilac colored as well as two-toned. So special. ~TxH~

    My grandmother was an amazing veggie gardener but she enjoyed throwing flowers in there even though they weren’t utilitarian. I loved that about her. ~TxH~

      Thanks Gracie – it’s often so windy here in NE Texas during the time the Iris blooms that it’s hard to get a good shot. Glad I was able to snap one on a calm(ish) day! 🙂 ~TxH~

    I have many Irises that bloomed in my yard this year but none like this one. It is a real beauty, indeed! I love the two-toned Irises, especially these lavender ones 🙂
