A good sign that Spring is arriving :} also a very good chance to have freezing temperatures yet. :{ A freeze will certainly take care of these early bloomers.

True, Colleen – can’t argue with that. But you know, I heard someone say yesterday “No good weather goes unpunished”. I’m kinda surprised at the negative mindset over such a beautiful season. I guess I’m just a glass-half-full kinda girl. Knowing full well an early spring could mean those blooms won’t make fruit, I’m more focused on the amazing beauty of it all. The sparkling white blooms against that beautiful blue Texas sky. And our bees are making good use of those blooms too, gifting them with an early source of nutrition they wouldn’t ordinarily have at a time of year when they typically struggle. If a killing frost kills those blooms in the days to come, well I’ve already benefited from them from the beauty they imparted and the food they offered to our bees. ~TMH~
