Voluntary Simplicity & Self Reliance

by Texas Homesteader ~

Self reliance and voluntary simplicity equals power. The advertising moguls would have you believe that you need them to do things for you – that many of those convenience items are just too complicated or time consuming for you to be able to do them for yourself.

Absolutely, I don’t think people quite understand how hard people are trying to manipulate you! But you can say no and opt out of it all. đŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing on the Waste Less Wednesday Blog Hop!

Great post. I enjoyed reading this. I didn’t realize your in Texas. Me too. Only I am in the suburbs. I miss country life. I live it through you and the other bloggers. I’ve used cloth napkins for years and years.
This year I am attempting a balcony veggie garden. I’ve never had much success with seeds. But I have cucumbers sprouting. Yea me!
Thanks for sharing this post. I always enjoy visiting you.
    Have a wonderful Friday.

I’m trying to add things to my arsenal all the time. This summer I’m determined to do some gardening and put that raised bed to use again!

What a wonderful article. I hope it inspires many more to start making changes starting with one simple thing. I am happier than ever now that I practice self-reliance and do for myself.

Great article and so true. It’s so amazing to me how many things we can make at home.
